Wisdom Vs Mind

People with logical mindset in the world have literal association of life while those with the intuitive sense are left to label as blind belief. Combination of intuitiveness and logic breaks the barriers of mind to see a new reality. Thus life is a learning process if one doesn’t restrict ones own mental development.

In many parts of the world it is considered no moon day when there is moon’s absence. But in eastern civilisation there is a significance to solar and lunar cycles. It is called the new moon(ammavasya) instead of no moon. Though it sounds to be contradictory, such process of evolution of a moon starts at this day. Then the moon ends blossoming as an intoxicating full moon (pournami).

By considering the whole earth as a tree called kalpakavrish, that yields for human needs. When earth started flowering it indicates just this process started from new moon to full moon. It also simultaneously correlates with the menstrual cyclical activity in a women. So the earth is largely considered as mother(prakriti) in ancient texts giving significance to such celestial events. Many are symbolically recognized as stories in the ancient scriptures.

On june 21st, the sun shines directly over the tropic of cancer. In the south, it’s the first day of the winter and the shortest day of the year. While in the north, it’s the first day of summer and the shortest night of the year. The quanta of daylight is maximum in this whole year. According to natures perspective, it marks the beginning of a cyclical shift for the sun to start it’s journey to south. It is called summer solstice under the physical laws of geography.

United Nations has recently recognized this day as International yoga day. Though some of the days like this are recognized, many yogic lifestyles relating to celestial events lost it’s significance.

It is significant for those who wishes to live in harmony with nature. Even before the concept of nation and religion arises, this part of civilization recognized nature oriented living.

Thus there is no division among humanity, but certainly there is a discrimination in an individuals capacity. But it requires certain capability of mind to recognise such discrimination.

Many sages and seers wrote scriptures about it. While kings follow it to transcribe the welfare to masses. Then there were business to be given importance which later include shudras (blue collar workers). Thus society has been all encompassing based on their individuals acts of karma.
